Here are a few first steps to get you started:

F.A.Q.
For Elopements & Micro Weddings

What Does Venue Time Mean? Venue time means the time you spend at the venue, from arrival to departure. Please note, additional time to get dressed, take photos before or after, etc. must all be done within the Venue Time for your package purchase.

Can I buy more time? Yes, you can, please see our Custom Upgrades section for more information.

What happens if we are late? Being late is a no no! If you are late the clock keeps ticking and you loose photo time! So, don't be late!

Can I bring my own Flowers? Yes, you can bring your own flowers, however we do not deduct anything from the package price if it is included nor do we pay for them.

What type of Officiant do you offer? We have a female officiant (not ordained minister) licensed to perform ceremonies in the State of Washington. The Elopement packages are officiated by this staff member.

Can we bring our own officiant? Yes and no... if you book a micro wedding package, you can bring him or her, however we do not deduct anything from the package price, and we don't pay your officiant. No outside officiants allowed for the Elopement packages.

What type of ceremonies do you offer? We offer Religious (such as Christian) Spiritual (no mention of God or Jesus) and Civil (no spiritual references at all.)

Can we bring our own photographer? Again, yes and no. If you book a micro wedding package you can bring him or her however, we don't deduct anything from the package price and we don't pay them. This does not apply to Elopements - No outside photographers are allowed for Elopements.

Is your photographer a professional? Yes, of course!. Our photographer is a qualified, experienced wedding photographers from right here in Bothell You will LOVE the results!

Can we meet with the photographer prior to the ceremony? Our packages to not include time with the photographer prior to your event. You meet meet them when you arrive at our venue and she will be happy to answer your questions at that time. We do provide you with a photo check list before hand so that our photographer will know if there are any special shots you'd like.

Where can we view your photographers work? All wedding photos on our site are shot by our photographers. You can also view her website at: https://www.ascaniophoto.com

How does photo the process work? Your photographer will be waiting for your arrival. Once there,they will begin taking photos during your "getting ready time" throughout the ceremony and then family and friends photos and finally the really romantic photos of just you two. If your package includes outdoor images, they will accompany you to the Bothell Landing Park where she will guide you through a series of romantic shots in the beautiful surroundings. . She will take 3 times the number of images that are in your package and edit them for quality. Then she will load them to your own personal wedding gallery. You will receive a link within in 3 weeks of the wedding to choose your favs from everything in your gallery and you'll make a "comment" npte of each that you want. We then give you a link to download them to you own devices, watermark free with full use. You can purchase the entire gallery if you want for an additional $200.00.

Is there a place to change in the venue? Yes, we offer our stunning Bridal Room (if included in the package you choose) as well as two lovely bathrooms. However it is not available for hair and makeup! Please come ready to get dressed and get married.

Do we meet before the ceremony or can we meet up in person to discuss our ceremony? Normally we take care of everything over email, phone and text. You can schedule a meeting and a tour for the larger packages. However, we will communicate via phone and email, as many times as you need us, to make sure all the details are taken care of.

Is there free parking? Yes. We have a parking lot located behind our building with several spots and there is plenty of free street parking up and done Main Street.

Do I need a marriage license from Washington (even if I don't live there)? Yes, you do! You need to obtain a marriage license 72 hours in advance of the ceremony. No out of state license is allowed. No, you do not. Vows renewals do not need a license because you are already married.

How do I pay for your services? We require 1/2 down when you book the wedding and the balance due 3 days prior to the event. You may pay with a credit card or debit card which we can take over the phone. We will email you a receipt.

What is your refund policy? We do not allow refunds. Once you have paid your deposit or balance there is no refund. You may use the funds up to 1 year from the orginal date of service, as long as you notify us within 60 days prior to the wedding. Some extenuating circumstances are allowed by management only.
